Dr. Stephen Todd Newman
Medical Director
Dr. Stephen Todd Newman originates from Southern California, where he spent his formative years. He earned his degree from St. Margaret’s Episcopal School in San Juan Capistrano and later pursued higher education at the University of Southern California. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, he ventured to the East Coast, embarking on a journey that led him to engage in pioneering research activities and disseminate his findings at Harvard Medical School. Working under the guidance of Dr. Gloria Lee within the confines of Harvard’s Center for Neurologic Disease, he furthered his scientific pursuits.
Following a familial legacy, Dr. Newman decided to pursue his medical education at the esteemed Boston University School of Medicine. Here, he not only continued to build upon his grandfather's legacy but also unearthed his deep-seated passion for holistic patient care. Concurrently, he extended his research horizons, dedicating his efforts to investigating the impact of biphasic defibrillators on the physiological aspects of porcine (pig) subjects.
